Akshay Credit cooperative Society Limited‘s principal object is to promote the interests of all its members to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the cooperative principles. And also to promote the spirit and practice of thrift, mutual and self-help and cooperation among the members and to encourage regular savings and to provide credit to members for productive purposes.
The society has a very humble but a very inspiring beginning. Society is registered under State cooperative societies Act, 1960 and registration no. DR/MDS/1077.
As a premier society, the society has derived its strength from the dedication of its highly motivated staff. Being an society with a vision, the society has recognized that the best of investments are investment in people and has accordingly assigned considerable importance in the matter of training its staff. It is a matter of considerable pride that the society has a full-fledge training establishment with very few parallels in the sector, where in-house training courses are conducted almost continuously in a very professional manner for up gradation of the skills and for enhancement of functional efficiency so as to make the society a “Member’s Delight”. Every employee has been given very clear idea of his role which enables them to function more efficiently and produce better results.
The AKSHAY is not a personally owned institution but is a society mutually owned by its members who enjoy the status of being exclusively served while carrying out financial as well as non-financial transactions. The AKSHAY does business for mutual benefit of its members only.
THE AKSHAY is a fully democratic organization. Its governance & policies are transparent and are managed by the ‘Board of Directors’ elected by it members. The elections are normally conducted in the Annual General Meeting each year for filling up vacant posts.
THE AKSHAY values and respects the opinions of its members. Being registered as a cooperative society, the Department of Co-operative of the State Government constantly reviews the functioning of the society at regular intervals. The annual books of accounts of AKSHAY are subject matter of Statutory Audit and the Audited Accounts are submitted to the State Govt. for review and inspection.
THE AKSHAY expansion program is on a fast track .THE AKSHAY is going to mark its presence throughout all the districts & Tehsil headquarters of our operational MP state.. With a friendly caring approach for its members combined with the sense of security and peace of mind, THE AKSHAY hopes to enjoy presence in other state in coming years.
